There are two sections within the OpenKey app and white label apps where WiFi information can be stored.  One is available to any app users, whether they have an active key or not and the other requires an active mobile key to access.  


WiFi information available to ALL users, regardless of whether they have an active mobile key or not.


Located in the Hotel Information section of the app, you can add WiFi information as one of your eight optional highlights. View more on highlights here.



Log into OpenKey HOST, https://host.openkey.co.


Click on HOTEL on the left side of the screen and click on VIEW on the HIGHLIGHTS tile.


Once expanded, you will see a series of active highlights for your hotel.  If you don't have any highlights selected, this section will be blank. 



To delete highlights, click the red trash can on the right and confirm.  The highlight will then be deleted from this section. To edit highlights, click on the blue pencil icon. 


To select new icons for highlights, scroll down to the section titled "ADD HIGHLIGHTS TO HOTEL." This section allows you to search through the 380+ icons available. You can use the search bar to narrow the search, or simply look through the available options. If the highlight is already added to your hotel, you will see a.


To add a new highlight, click ADD.  From here, you can update the name of the icon and enter your desired description.  Once complete, click ADD TO HOTEL. 


WiFi information that is only viewable if the user has an active mobile key for your hotel. 


Located in the More section of the app, you can add WiFi information through the Hotel tab in HOST under OVERVIEW.  



Log into OpenKey HOST, https://host.openkey.co.


Click on HOTEL on the left side of the screen and click VIEW on the OVERVIEW tile.  


Once expanded, you will see the General Hotel Information.  Click Edit on the Booking Information tab.


Now you will see the WIFI information field.  Enter the network and password requirements here. Note that WiFi instructions are visible to in-house guests only.

Once complete, click SUBMIT.
